Downloading the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Application You will need to download the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to establish a VPN connection with the USC network. Complete the following steps to download the AnyConnect application. Open an Internet browser and navigate to. The USCnet Login screen displays.

If you have not already enrolled in Duo, you can visit and enroll. If you have not enrolled in Duo, you may be prompted to do so, at this time. If you have already enrolled in Duo, select the authentication method you configured during Duo enrollment. Duo will authenticate you before proceeding.
After authenticating with Duo, the myDornsife page displays. From the Dornsife Applications section of the screen, select Download Software. The Download Software screen displays. Select the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for Windows Download hyperlink. This will download the AnyConnect application and establish a VPN connection with the USC network. A download prompt displays. Select the Save File button to save the file to your local computer.
The file is saved. Locate the AnyConnect file that you just downloaded. The file icon will appear similar to the following. Double-click the icon to begin installing AnyConnect. Depending upon the security settings on your computer, you may receive a security alert similar to the following when you begin to install AnyConnect. Select the Run button.
The Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Setup Wizard displays. Select the Next button. The End User License Agreement (EULA) screen displays. Select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement radio button.
Select the Next button. The Ready to Install screen displays. Select the Install button. The AnyConnect application begins to install. As the installation progresses, you may be prompted for your USC ID and password, as a security measure. If prompted, enter your USC ID in the User name field, and your USC password in the Password field.
Select the Yes button after you have entered your USC ID and password in the appropriate fields. The installation completes.
